For sale - 4 off bucket seats with slides

Hi, I have 4 off bucket seats that don't match the colour scheme for my project thus surplus to requirements. They have been sitting around in my garage collecting dust for the last 2 years other than that they are new unused. http://i1273.photobucket.com/albums/y415/Burtomanxter/image.jpg1_zpsuhtj2...

Re: Game On .. Aussies to take on Norra Mexican 1000

Turned out pretty awesome,

Thanks for taking the effort to take lots of photos and posting it as it has definitely given me some motivation to get back into finishing off my build.

Good luck with the race

Rx-8 rear seats

Has anybody looked into fitting rx-8 rear seats into their manxter or other buggy?

I came across these and had me wondering how hard it would be

Hey mate, Upload a photo so we can see where the gap is. The good thing about steel is that it is pretty easy to fill in a gap with some scrap steel. Dont give up just yet

Re: Buggy Wiring , Questions Answered

Brad, Thanks for the response, understand you are somewhat busy. I think at $2k that is still pretty good value as I am sure it will take me 100+hrs by the time I track down all the parts, complete the install and do the trouble shooting. If I was to do it myself would you just reuse the majority of...

Re: Fitting subaru steering column

Cheers Nate. Will do some more trials and make sure it is nice and free to steer under more front end load as it seems to go ok with no weight on the front end.

Re: Manxter Build

Or just lop a bit of the edge of the mount off around that top hole area where it's just touching the box. Then everything should settle nicely. Yeah thought about that but didn't want to mess up the nice gold cad plating :) was thinking a 2mm s/s shim might do the job nicely but will have another ...

Re: Manxter Build

I like installing quality built stuff that others have done all the thinking to perfect.

Who did the exhaust - looks like quality work?

Paul from steelart has done a good job hand crafting the exhaust. Probably going to get it ceramic coated to stop it from staining though.

Re: Manxter Build

Are you using the Subaru gears engine and gearbox mounts?

Yes, they bolted straight in once I added an extra tab under the pivot boxes. The engine mount still needs a bit of shimming as the gearbox it still resting on the engine mount but nothing major.
