Any one seen or heard from Paul? (manxiberty)

As above, sent him a few emails to return some parts and haven't heard a peep? Anyone know where he is hiding?

Re: Nate's Manxter Build

Been finalising placements for all the things I have to jam in the engine bay, running out of room really quickly. I have mocked up all the alloy cooling lines down the side of the buggy, waiting on a mate coming round to help with the alloy welding. Not to confident on something that has to hold th...

Here you go Pud! IMG_3957manxclub.jpg IMG_3966manxclub.jpg IMG_3965manxclub.jpg Motor is in, found a spot for the over flow bottle, I have hidden the charcoal canister up high behind the air box, I had to cut a big hole in the transmission cover so the intake tube had some clearance. Will seal it up...

Re: Why I went Subaru..

You shouldn't have to justify your choices to anyone man. Drive whatever you want however you want. Smiley :) I know I don't have to bud. I wanted to. I wish I had another choice other than to blow a s#!t tonne of cash on a motor that wouldn't last. Just wanted to open a few eyes so to speak that t...

Why I went Subaru..

I keep having people ask why I went/am going for a Subaru conversion. So to answer these questions I'd like to give a back story, in my 20's I did up/restored a old 71 superbug. Spent the big dollars and got a base 1916 built by a very reputable engine builder. Drove the car hard but not abusing it ...

Re: Nate's Manxter Build

Back from the desert holiday and straight into the buggy, after I got over the nasty chest infection from the disgusting people on the plane.. It seems like it is one step forward five backwards with this buggy every time I spin a spanner on it. Got the motor in after I'd fit the new oil/air ...

Re: Nate's Manxter Build

Finished off the harness today, spent all day yesterday and till lunchtime today stripping off kilo's of plastic conduit, electrical tape, cable ties etc, removed all the unnecessary stuff, pulled all the plugs out of their respective pins so I could cover the harness in some nice pvc tubing. Button...

Re: Liberty thermo fan hook-up

Yeah I was thinking about the shroud thing, might do the rubber door flap thing on the back as well, wifeys civic has these rubber flaps that open when moving but suck shut when the fan is on. Best of both worlds.

It is as you said Pud, black is earth and BOTH the other wires blue and green are hooked up to 12v positive for high speed.

Re: Liberty thermo fan hook-up

Hey Pud did you ever sus this out? I will have to figure it out soon as well, it does appear to be a two speed fan, but I couldn't tell the difference in speed hooking up black as earth and assuming blue and green were the two speeds. I didn't try your way though.

Subaru EJ22 1996 harness questions

So I had a few hours of stripping my harness down for the conversion, all going really well, I have been using Brents awesome pinout that I found here somewhere, my only snag so far is I have a few left over plugs that don't seem to be on any diagram I can find, these were taped to the paired green ...
