Where are the updates? Is it back in your shed yet? Has it been to paint yet? Fraser is only 6 months away. 8O

Fraser is only 6 months away.

I know. I am hoping to pick it up next week-end. :D

Hopefully Brad will have his camera handy when he is in the shed and load some photos.

Ok ok ...

So with the need for as much space as possible in the tunnel the decision was made to put the hand brake and shift tube on top. To do this they were both removed and a custom shift box and hand brake mounts made.

With the shifter and hand brake sorted it was time to start looking at the fuel tank. Ben wanted at least 50litres which at first sounded easy enough. BUT when you look at what space Dave had to work with it became apparent real quick it was going to need some Dave Magic to get anything close to that.

That tank is made from 2mm alloy and will run the factory subaru fuel pump and sender unit. Being fitted for EFI it also gets an internal surge tank.

The reason it is such a weird shape is because their is a pretty weird space to work with .

We require photos to justify this post, unless Ben has them in his own thread?
