With such a nice day outside, we went for a swim at Redcliffe, and Josh got some more driving practise in his logbook

Gday all merry XMAS vwnuts just a quick question did you do the conversion on the box case or someone did for you. also a side note Josh's teacher should remind him not to drive with his arm outside the window line or isn't against the law in QLD as in NSW

Well nearly 12 months down the track, and the Baja has done a lot of offroading trips. And I've finally found the limit to the Beetle CV joints. On the weekend we went for a play in the bush up near Noosa with the HillBilly Offroaders, and during the course of the day I managed to destroy 4 cv joints.

Probably something to do with me driving up this hill instead of down like everyone else.....

Anyway, its time for Kombi cv joints at the wheels, so over the weekend I've been busy modifying Stub axles and half shafts to accomodate the transformation.....

More pics to follow

I've got the same setup kombi at the box and beetle at wheels, maybe I should invest in some new stubs and cvs, did it take much to destroy them?

diff lockers should be available in the coming months with a bit of luck....... getting some prototypes pumped out once i have time

should be stronger then the cast oem VW which seem to handle a bit more weight then we buggy guys ever chuck at them......

fun on the sand as well.....sideways!!!!
