Great buggy and it has some interesting history behind it . Now since you mentioned the tag I will tell you what I beleive the story to be once I have confirmed this over the next week or so with Bruce. It is an interesting story none the less.

Stay tuned..

Ok those badges were put out by Radical Custom Buggies on the Manx Body kits they made which were not under license from Meyers Manx USA. In short they were flop bodies and no royalties were paid on them. They were made from the Manx Molds and they were made in Australia BUT they were not Officially Recognised by Meyers Manx USA as in effect they are sort of a copy.

This opens up a heap of questions but in the past what we have done is issued them with a new Meyers Manx Ser Number and reflected why in the register. Since Radical Custom Buggies is no longer in existence and most people would have bought them in good faith it is not the fault of the current owner that the dealer of the time started flopping them out the back door.

So there you have it, ironically having the tag just proves it was a flop where as if it didn't have the tag you would be told you have an Authentic Meyers Manx, well it is Authentic just not licensed, oh you know what I mean.

 So should I bother to apply for a new serial Number, or offer Bruce $20 royalties
Or rip the tag off. Cat's out the bag now. Probably apply for new tag.

Don't rip it off it is all part of buggy history. As I said it wasn'tthe owners that screwed Bruce and WInnie they bought in good faith.
