OK time for front end build, bottom ball joints well lets say I was lucky. I will be doing the hole front end bar steering box. Half pulled apart so far.

Finchy that is definitely a ball joint front end, you could use 181, but if you wanted to stay stock I could probably help you out. :D. But I wouldn't throw those old arms out, you could get them spray welded and reground.

Yeah unsure what to do but I am interested on how to tackle inner bush ?

I would make a small slide hammer, a piece of steel on the end to bridge the bush with a very sloppy hole for the rod, so you can push it up diagonally though the bush, then you are on your own best of luck :)

Ok today I made 2 slide hammers, 1 for top & 1 for bottom, nothing is ever easy. (Different size bearings) Pulled outer bearings out no probs, Pulled inner bushes out no probs, rrr maybe a few words.

Ok after checking out a lot of torsion arms I found some good S/Hand arms from Rodger at southside vw. I gave them a bit of a clean and pressed in some new ball joints.

Beam was getting a bit scruffy so got it sand blasted + 2pac primed. Then super etched and epoxy enamal

yeah alot more work than it looks, getting inner bushes in with out damage took a bit, but all good.
