Are you going to run a front bar on it Graham? If so what design are you thinking of?

Well the manx made it up to the Beach trip without any dramas, just had the problem of no roof & torrential rain.

I then took the Manx down to Stockton Sand Dunes and had a blast there with the other guys

The only problem I had at Stockton was rolling the tyre off the bead, but that was quickly fixed with the help of John and his 12v pump.

I've been using a handheld UHF for trips so far, and that becomes a pain with always needing batteries, so I've been on the lookout to buy a vehicle mounted UHF. All the ones I had seen were going to be around $4-500, until i found a place in Perth on the internet. Price was great, free shipping and free aerial.
So this is what I bought

Well after 2 years of hard lovin, the chassis needs a little bit of repair. I've had a lot of fun in this manx, and havent been afraid to drive it hard, but that did result in me finding out the framehead had rusted from the inside out. So I'm doing some repairs using an early floorpan, but as you can see some butcher used an axe to get to the clutch cable at some stage.......

So to repair this, I picked up a Meyers Manx Australia inspection cover and re-enforcement plate....... :)
