Just trying to guage how much room is back there in a V2.

How is your subie box going ?

I have hundreds of photos, but none with anyone in the back seat 8O . I am just over 6 foot and I can fit in it ok as far as head room in concerned. The front seats have to be moved forward for me to get my legs in though. Having said all that, I am going to make another seat base with less padding on it so the kids car seats sit lower.

At the moment I am waiting for another subie box to be built to test - with an LSD, so right now my buggy is not going anywhere

Ok thanks that is pretty much what I thought. I guess at the end of the day it is just a beetle floor pan and sitting in the back of one of them is hard enought.

I am thinking I will tub the rear area to make more room and get the seat as low as possible.

Least it should be just bolt in when it comes back. That should make you happy.

Also we expect to see you really pushing the box to the limit on stockton with the LSD.

Well almost. The next box is actually a WRX box and is a little different physically, so I have to make a couple of new brackets for the Bowden tube and stuff. It wouldn't be a big deal normally but we have just bought a house and need to move in 6 weeks...and well....it would be good if I could start packing up the garage soon :)

Yes looking forward to testing the LSD. It is the torson (sp?) type and then there is a clutch type one to test after that !!! I'll probably have had enough of pulling the motor and box out by the time this is finished
