Type 3 Supa Sports Build

Postby subisupa » Mon Dec 08, 2008 8:23 pm

So about 2 years ago I help my cousin with his beach buggy a bit and got hooked from there.

Then late in 2007 I purchased this little blue number.

Then set to work, it was short wheel base at the time so I got it lengthened, while that was happening I started working on a pan got about half way through then found one for sale at a reasonable cost so I sold off the one I was working on and away we go.

Then the motor went to Fraser without the Body as they had an arguemnet about who was cooler. The engine won and jump up the ass on another Supa Sports ...

Not real happy the body snuck out and screwed with the clutch leaving the engine and its new body stranded

See what I can do.

Here is one of my engine. Yes it has a pink clutch yes I think that was the reason matt wanted to pull the engine at fraser to show everyone his pink crutch.

So that is how it sits at the moment. Still waiting to hear back from Volks Mod on the manxfx body.

Cheers all

looks cool. I would put a bigger radiator in though, it has been shown that the gold ones are a little small on occasions.

You swapping to a MaxFX body ? then yopur barwork and stuff will need to change.. why not stick it out and get it built  I mean you don't see me chopping and changing..

*cough* much *coug*

One reason mainly and SHE wants a 4 seater so be it.

If needed I will sell the bar work and body, but for now will continue on the pan, fuel lines, brake lines. Axels and C.V's got a bit to keep me going until the body is really needed.

Well I though it would have been but by the time I actully looked at that. It's not.

This one only has one single deck in the back which is the same hight as the top of the combi box so it will need to be chopped and re glassed.

And your silly question is excused
