Re: Brad's Iguana - Rear Coilovers n Seat

Cheers fro teh feedback. Due to the nature of the layout in the Iguana being 8" wider and a few inches longer with the rear seat sitting where it is I can happily sit on the bare seat base and be comfy as far as leg room etc goes.

Plan is for a 10mm high density foam cover which will be press studded in place along the front and top face. I will beat some bum shapes into it first.

Seat back is about 300 from the front edge so it is a long way in buggy terms.

Did you mean 10mm or 10cm ?

It just looks low (which is great because you want to be low) but you dont want to have your knees up around your ears when you have your feet on the floor :-).

Well hurry up and post them!!!

I was also wondering, have you weighed the EZ? I was just curious as to how much it weighed fully dressed ready to roll. And how that compares to other Subie engines?

EZ weight 34.7 KG more than my EJ22 in the same dress so there isn't to much in it. Once I have a few things sorted I will be putting it on the corner scales to get the shock rates and colis sorted.

With my distraction project almost finished I hav started unpacking some of my soon to be installed buggy bling... Got me a set of these tonight which should make it pull up well..

Big Buggies need Big Brakes ...

I decided long agao that the Iguana was going to stop and stop well.

I looked at a few options and after talking to the Engineer and Dave at Custom Offroad I decided I neede something different. So I bought some bits and Dave is going to fabricate some brackets to do the job of holding them where they need to go .....
