kombi suspension into baja

Gday all pics of donar modified kombi front & kombi rear mounted insitu the 1/4 panel was to check clearance on kombi chassis members The 1600 kombi box will mount onto tube xmember under motor instead of vw mounts

Ok I have to ask .. WHY would you want to do this and what are you trying to gain ?

I have seen it done a few times and the results have never justified the effort or weight gain.

Don't get me wrong I am all for doing stuff different but I would just like to know what the motivation for it is ...

Gday Brad. Just somthing I have decided to try for floor lift not body the front end has an adjuster set on it for height changes. I had the bits so thought have ago if its no good i will just drop it back onto original pan & turn pan into a ride mower
