So is the buggy going to the Gulf instead of the baja ? What is happening with the Baja bod ??

Yes it will now be a buggy instead of a Baja. Trip however is probably postponed until 2014 due to various factors ( house reno, work commitments etc ). All the baja bits and pieces I have are up for grabs. 2 of everything in the way of fibreglass stuff. Original steel guards, bonnet, doors and bootlid. And of course body. Body has some rust in RHS heater channel and a couple of minor bits and pieces but not beyond repair. Welcome to come and have a look or I will post some photos in couple of days.
