if you bring the shift position back does it interfere with the handbrake?, or does the handbrake handle need to be shortened also?

My understanding is that you do not need to move the shifter back on BJ floor pans. This is a mod only made on K&L pans.

If you bring the shifter back, then you will need to shorten the hand brake lever. A superbug pan is like this already.

Yes the shifter mod is only needed on the link pin pans.

Here's a pic of an original length handbrake lever next to the one I cut down when I moved the shifter back.

I knew i wasn't going stupid. OK well maybe i am but thats another story.
But i didn't think that Dan would have to move the shifter.

More progress pics of the chassis & pan halves
being welded. Where all the spot welds were (forks and neck), they
have now been tig welded.

I cleaned up the 2nd hand lift kit i bought from
Mike, took to it with the wire brush and flap disk
came up tops!
