Was nice of work to 'donate' the ride down on the semi :)

:( :( Was rather grumpy the other day with the young bloke (he's only 6 yrs old),... but after thinking about things for a while soon got over it... he's been mucking around in the shed for quite some time now building meccano etc while I've been tinkering about, he spotted & helped himself to the un-opened Bruce signed buggy model I was keeping in the drawer...

Ah well, ...guess I'll just need to help him build it now,.... suppose all things are meant to be used, not gather dust... :)

G'day Nate, yeah alls good, just haven't been on here (or had the buggy out) for a fair while due to being absolutely snowed under with work duties, that's starting to slow a little (but the next job's backing onto it very soon :( )
Havent got much to post that's buggy related.....but if you're after a 'rambling' (I'm sure that's just a polite term for 'dribbling sh#t')
Went to this thing on the weekend they have down here called "Dark Mofo" which is a festival the crowd at MONA (Museum of Old & New Art) run to align with the Winter Solstice (shortest day).

Not a bad show, although I'm still confused as what the definition of art is, even with a helicopter performing loop-de-loops & stunts above the event with the theme song from Superman blasting from speakers from the copter.... not sure how that's art, that's just a bloke havin a ball!!
P1050902.jpg
( And yes the copter is upside down there) They even change the lighting on the Tasman Bridge (am told they are standard fluoro's, needing to go to the trouble to actually change the lamps)

There's a big parade in the streets where they carry these things while chanting etc, ....as I said I'm lost on the art side of things...
P1050923.jpg
P1050924.jpg
P1050925.jpg
And then they burn it...???
P1050935.jpg
P1050942.jpg
Where's the art side of that???...Actually, one thing I find amusing is that everyone thinks the letters MOFO has something to do with MONA (Museum of Old and New Art, the F in MOFO standing for 'Festival" or something) but if you google it, MOFO is American slang for Motherf#cker....so Dark Mofo actually means Dark Motherf#cker...the shortest day!......Now I do see the art in that!!

Hows that Nate, is that enough of a ramble?  I'm Back

Haha see there's a nice ramble! It is great entertainment! Yeah art it very much lost on me too mate, so don't feel bad! Especially seeing what some douche bags pay for it! I have been out in mine a fair bit, mainly going riding though... Did find a nice camp spot in belanglo forest that we might hit up with the niece and nephews.
It will all be ok in the end.. if is not ok its not the end!
