Yeah, might have jumped the gun there a little bit, spur of the moment thing to try to fix a few issues at home, only had it out there a day & after a few calls had second thoughts, not sure can actually go through with it...kind of feels like you're selling part of your soul....will be holding off for a bit & see how things pan out

Well, Chubby has survived another round of crisis.... last round was a couple of years back the buggy went up against the road bike, one had to go & Chubby made it through.... this time it was Chubby V's the '57 chev truck, & she made it through again, so all good to keep buggying on!! :D

Hasn't been much going on buggy wise down here in Tas, but recently went on a buggy spotting hunt...(actually, it was just a trip crossing some things off the Mrs's bucket list, but buggy spotting sounds better  )

First stop wasn't overly successful, only spotted a well loved Thing

And an out of place number plate....on a Toyota?? :?
P1080049.jpg

Only other thing that even resembled a buggy were these renters, kind of like the 3 wheeler canams but powered by a scooter arse end...

Grabbed a renter, was supposed to be a huyundai but we got upgraded so was happy with that
P1080173.jpg
& headed further south via legoland  in Carlsbad, spotted a buggy on Mission Blvd,
P1080179.jpg
Mission Beach rocks!! I thought those scenes with the chicks rollerskating down the boardwalk wearing skimpy stars & stripes bikini's were something set up for the movies but no,....saw it for myself... 8) 8) ....sorry, didn't get pics, drooling too much
Only other spotto there was a bug in San Diego
P1080193.jpg
Accomodation was great, really liked the whole place

Did see a beetle as we were leaving San Diego

P1080198.jpg

Drove an alternate route through Valley Centre, was hoping to visit the birth place of the Manxters at the factory, hoped to have a look at old red too if it was kept there, Manx #1 where it all started, but with my lack of research (didn't see the address on the Meyersmanx website) plus not having internet access or phone unless we were at our accommodation with wifi, the satnav sent us to what I think was an alternate address to the shop, but what was at the end of the driveway didn't disappoint...

Complete with a little hair dryer.... should be able to confuse the cops if you got pulled up too..."So who was driving??"
P1080203.jpg
& an on the go build
P1080202.jpg
Was keen to have a closer look but didn't want to intrude :)

The Chevy was full of nuns wearing skull masks waving what I assume were fake assault weapons around hanging on to bags of money  ... now that's loose..
Also did some site seeing earlier...
