Nasty, after seeing that made sure I had another re-look at mine to ensure all is good! Bet that was a bum clenching moment when the pedal went to the floor

So still curious about the wifes x-mas pressie??.....assuming air cooled???...... Same rules with the pics....

Yeah Pud I kept it Air Cooled!! It's my first buggy so se wanted to keep it simple and have some
fun with a little VW Beetle engine. So to show the wife that I have become sensible in my old
age I went back from a 2lt back to a smaller beetle engine......

Looks great! What are the specs on the motor? I like the tuck away exhaust, looks really neat.
It will all be ok in the end.. if is not ok its not the end!

Cheers mate, yeah I don't mind the muffler down ther but I'm getting a new one which comes up & across
the back of the motor. Not sure exactly what yet, that muffler on it is just a loan from Rod until I sort out what I'm doing.

It's a 2276 which seems to push Kermit along nicely.

Haha smaller beetle engine! That's great! What carbs did you get on it? Curious to see my f your running rods idfs or the webers? Am looking at putting some bigger webers on mine to replace the kads. Good work as usual mate, but more pics!

To be honest mate I'd have to look at the Specs sheet, I kniw their thwarts Rod
puts on his engines and their 48mm. I think their the IDF's.

More of my rear end and one with the rear bar fitted. Only needed a small piece to be cut out of the bottom
tube to clearance the headers.
