Building the new Super Bug Panned Manxter

Postby Brad » Fri Nov 06, 2015 6:02 pm

Found a use for Super Bug Pans and Manxter Bodies ...

Build an assembly that s designed to fit onto any type 1 pan be it super bug, ball joint or king and link.

The Super Bug pan seems to be the cheapest and most readily available we decided we would use it for the demo setup.

So we got a bare pan from the pile with some nice patina

When finished the Assembly will replace the hammer head and fit onto the tunnel. It bolts onto the outside holes and comes with all the measurements you need to set it up correctly.

I will get the weights but from feel the assembly weighs less than the hammer head ... although it might have just seemed that way so I will weigh them both.

Step 1 is to remove all that horrible hammer head crap we will not be needing anymore

Step 2 is to drop the assembly over the tunnel section for a test fit.
