Any info

Postby petermc69 » Wed May 09, 2012 8:00 pm

I've been hearing rumors of a blue buggy seen running around the Southside of Gympie in the past couple of weeks. Can anyone shed any light on this? I would like to catch up with the owner and have a look.

In January we met a LWB Sharpbuilt from Gympie on Teerwah Beach.

They had just come down for a day's outing. I'm pretty sure that it was blue (but I'm colour blind and can't be sure.)

He and his passengers were probably middle-aged.

They didn't stop at the campsite to say g'day.

BlueV2

It could have been. But from memory it looked significantly bigger/longer and squarer than yours.

Graham

It could have been! - but someone had stuck a VW chassis underneath it ind chopped away the whole body and replaced it with a bit if fibreglass. The only things that were left were the passenger,

s and considering they seemed to be having a good time I doubt whether it was a 4WD and not a beach buggy.
