Yeah, it did go a bit against my principals, but I was able to justify it in my own mind that it wasnt a complete original example & that the vehicle had allready been mollested somewhat. No motor in it, The cb body was on a rusty beetle pan with IRS retro-fitted, with the box what I assume was out of a type 3, as it had an un-fitted flat motor along side it. At some stage it had the side cut out of the body next to the drivers seat down to the pan, the guy had pressed up a new outer section & welded it in, but still missing the inner section. It had the original seats & dash, & there was another beam with adjusters, had arms but no spindles. The cb brakes & backing plates were there in a box. The whole thing would still make a good little project for someone who didnt mind not having everything stock original, or wanted to slam it or something, but I do still feel a little guilty. The same guy apparently sold another totally rusted out cb about 12 months ago, that would have been the one to get hold of. I still cant find the darn photo's! Pud
