Hi all.
My 96 liberty donor had an incident involving a cow....soooo it will need some timing cover plastics...
does any one know if there are aftermarket ones available?
I can get some from the wreckers, that are shabby and cost as much as the motor again....
Will also need a cam sprocket for passenger side.
Cow versus car... know body wins!!
thanks in advance

Re: subie 2.2 timing covers
No aftermarket that I know of BUT I would check the cost of new ones as they use to be less than $200 for the set from Subaru.
Re: subie 2.2 timing covers
I recently got some new genuine ones and they came to about $350 with new gaskets.
Re: subie 2.2 timing covers
Thanks Brad and Burto.
looked at both options and new are about 30% dearer then secondhand. Add freight from the wreckers and the prices are just about the same. That's in my case as I'm a little remote. So new would get the nob unless and can scam a trip going past my Subaru wreckers on the coast....Mmmmm.

I've got a ton of these. Do you want me to send you up a set?
Re: subie 2.2 timing covers
Hey Todd. sounds good....I'll PM you some photo's so we can make sure they are same.. There is no urgency for them, so may get them sent up with my new subie gears....
Thanks again

New Subarugears? You've already got one set! Are you building a second car?
