Removal of a Manx Bonnet

Over the years a few people have asked how to remove the bonnet on a Meyers Manx so I thought I would take a few moments to put down some information that may help.

The design of the Manx is such that the bonnet is an itergral part of the tub and provides support to teh front guards, dash and windscreen frame. It ties it all togeather and as such is secured in a number of places.

Wheelies Day Out 2004

After recent trips to Fraser Island and Landcruiser Mountain park the Manx Club decided it would do something a little different this time around. There had been previous discussion by the Members of the Sporting Wheelies Association who had voiced their interested in going “ Dune Buggying” . Not knowing quite what this meant they contacted the Manx Club to see what was possible. Only to happy to make their dreams a reality the Manx Club set about organizing a fun day out for all. The 18th of April was the day selected.
